Pinterest app introduces emotional well-being activities

The Pinterest app launched a new feature to all its users. The feature is you can write your feelings then emotional health expert’s advice you the emotional well-being activities. This collaborates with the Stanford Lab for Mental Health Innovation, Vibrant Emotional Health, and the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. 

The Pinterest app has updated the work; Now it reflects stressful, sad queries or anxious which may be harmful for the user. If you can enter those criteria in the search bar, they list new activities and results in the results.

These activities and exercises they design these activities and exercises to help the user for strong and lift their spirits. This is also because it helps users calm down or learn to feel compassion.

If users search for terms like ‘stress quotes’ and work anxiety, they will promote to explore these harmful exercises. If a user looks for a keyword that shows harm or suicidal tendencies, that user will direct to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. 

Pinterest also claims that the interaction with these activities will be private and unassociated to the users their main accounts. So, it will collect no data from these exercises preventing recommendations or any advertisements based on that usage of the emotional well activities.
